Our volunteers are the heartbeat of Parker Days.

We love our volunteers. They truly make Parker Days a success. They work hard but also have a wonderful time. There are many different types of jobs to be accomplished during Parker Days and the days just before and after the event.

Waiver of Liability

Please read the following and type your name in the box below to agree to the waiver of liability.

1. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISK: By selecting this option, the volunteer has acknowledged that working in crowds may expose the participant to risk of property damage, or personal injury. The volunteer expressly acknowledges that his/her participation in the Volunteer Program will involve exposure to such potential risks.

2. RELEASE OF SPONSORS AND THE PARKER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: The volunteer, being aware that participation in the Volunteer Program will expose him or her to risks, hereby releases the Parker Chamber of Commerce, and all sponsors, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates or representatives (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Releasees”) from liability for any and all property damage, personal injuries or other claims arising from the volunteer's participation in the Volunteer Program, including those that are known and unknown, foreseen, future or contingent. This Release specifically includes any liability of the Releasees for their own negligence or breach of warranty.

3. COVENANT NOT TO SUE AND INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT: The volunteer agrees he/she shall not now or at any time in the future, directly or indirectly, commence or prosecute any action, suite or other proceeding action, claims and demands hereby waived, released or discharged by the undersigned. The undersigned agrees to indemnify and hold the Releasees harmless from any and all liability, expense, loss or damage, specifically including any liability, expense, loss or damage arising from the Releasee’s own negligence or breach of warranty. The volunteer also agrees to provide a defense or to reimburse any cost that the Releasees may incur if the Releasees provide their own defense (including, but not limited to reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs) in connection with any demand, claim or legal action, threatened or actual, including any third-party claim asserted against the Releasees that arises wholly or in part out of the volunteer's participation in Parker Days.

4. ASSURANCES: The volunteer has full power, authority, capacity and right without limitation to execute, deliver and perform this Release and Covenant Not to Sue.

5. BINDING EFFECT: This Release and Covenant Not to Sue shall be binding upon the volunteer and the volunteer’s, spouse, legal representatives, heirs, successors, or assignee.
